Job Title Project Manager Location Islamabad 


Job Summary
We are looking for a Project Manager with 3-5 years of working experience as a project management team member or 1-3 years of working experience as a project team lead or project coordinator who will be responsible for bringing all the necessary resources together to deliver the end product within the company's budgeted time and cost while avoiding scope creep and maintaining the quality of the deliverables. The ideal candidate will serve as the organization's customer representative, responsible for the successful completion of projects while managing customer expectations.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with Team Leads to define the scope of work and effort estimations at the stage of proposal making.
  • Be clear about the project objectives and project charter so as to facilitate project success.
  • Develop WBS in collaboration with team leads.
  • Develop and maintain a project schedule via an agreed upon WBS.
  • Identify all stakeholders relevant to the project and develop stakeholder management and communication plans.
  • Coordinate across departments (other divisions, teams, project managers, QA, IT Support, HR, Testing, Administration, Travel, Finance, Legal, etc.) involved with the project.
  • Use Earned Value Management for progress tracking.
  • Track all time expenses incurred by each project team member and make a thorough report to the relevant higher management.
  • Define the resources in manpower, logistics, and support materials needed to complete the project within the prescribed budget.
  • Work and liaison with vendors and sub-contractors to make sure that all the materials needed for any given project are available at the right time.
  • Manage all operational issues pertaining to the project and project team members.
  • Carry out all project-related procurements through the procurement department as per the approved procurement plan.
  • Actively perform risk management in coordination with the project team and other stakeholders to identify, document, and monitor all risks related to a project. Provide mitigation strategies and contingency plans in response to risks identified in the Risk Register.
  • Maintain an accurate cash flow sheet for the project allocated.
  • Report on a weekly basis on project progress and issues to the PMO Head and customer.
  • Ensure the enforcement of all company policies pertaining to projects allocated.
  • Ensure all accomplished project deliverables have been accepted with a client sign-off.
  • In collaboration with the project team, create the Project Closure Report (which includes all deliverable sign-offs, project management documents, project statistics, and lessons learned).

Supervisory Responsibilities
  • Perform Project Team Performance Evaluation during and at the end of the project.
  • Responsible for the project team workload management.
  • Approve all project team expenses.
  • Approve the project team member’s attendance requests and leaves.

  • Interpersonal skills including Leadership, Team Building & Motivation, Communication, Influencing, Decision Making, Political and Cultural Awareness & Negotiation.
  • Conceptual and organizational skills including planning, organizing, having strong goal orientation, ability to see the project as a whole, ability to visualize the relationship of the individual project to the industry and the community and strong problem solving.
  • Technical skills including specialized knowledge in the use of Project Management tools and techniques, understanding of methods, processes and procedures, the technology required, and skill in the use of Project Management software.

Education/Qualifications
  • B.S / M.S in CS / IT
  • PMP / Prince2 Certification, MCTS in MS Project, or other relevant tool’s mastery will be an added advantage

Experience
  • 3-5 years working experience as a project management team member.
  • Or 1-3 years working experience as a project team lead or project coordinator.
