Job Summary
We are looking for a Postgres Database Developer who is proficient in PostGIS and Oracle SDO and has a strong grasp of core geospatial concepts.
Required Skills
- 5+ years working as a database developer working with PostgreSQL, Oracle, Sql Server
- Expert Level SQL, PL/PG-SQL, including stored procedures, functions, packages, triggers, and views
- PostGIS and Oracle SDO proficiency and grasp of core geospatial concepts
- Hands on experience with ETL
- Hands on experience with Pentaho
- Expert in query optimization and database performance tuning
- Ability to work with python will be plus
- Ability to efficiently write database code without compromising data quality, privacy or security
- Knowledge of database design principles, index management, integrity checks, statistics and isolation levels
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to evaluate alternative solutions and/or workarounds
Education/Qualifications
BS Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
Minimum Experience
5+ years of relevant experience
