PowerExplorer, the energy explorer is a scalable, transparent and platform independent client server application. The product has an ‘n-tier’ architecture. The client is totally independent from the server side and vice versa. A client can plug in to multiple application servers and, in the same way, can have access to multiple data stores. PowerExplorer is designed such that it can accommodate any database model i.e. current Open Consortium database models (POSC and PPDM) are all supported.
