This was a physical data management project. EDMS was developed for POL to facilitate easy access of information and this resulted in cost savings to the company. The digital data was transcribed, re-mastered and archived. Hardcopy data was scanned and digitized for future archival. The transcribed/digitized data was catalogued, indexed and bar coded while the database entries were maintained in EDMAS.
