| The main focus of the BP Amoco Applications Rationalization project was the
conversion and transfer of E&P data from GeoFrame to Landmark suite of software. The data was retrieved from GeoFrame and converted to Landmark format by single application solution set for single business process, eliminating all local solutions.
Data (seismic and well) from other sources was also retrieved and transcribed to the standard format which included drilling, reservoir engineering, production engineering and geology & geophysics data. The total amount of data (seismic and well), which was converted and transcribed, was more than 10 terabytes. This project was handled globally at 11 sites in 9 countries and the global team comprised of 150 Landmark employees. |
