| Al-Khafji DM was a physical data management project completed by LMKR in Saudi Arabia. The project scope covered complete physical data management of all the hardcopy data including data gathering, reformatting, cataloguing, indexing, imaging and storage. A warehouse was subsequently set up and finally all the catalogued physical and scanned (images) data was entered using AssetDB. Additionally, extensive scripts were developed to load the data into a backend Oracle Database Management System.
The consultation on the data management solution included establishing a set of procedures for a physical data management workflow process. The client was provided with complete data security, disaster recovery and backup procedures. |
