LMKR, won a USAID funded project for the institutional strengthening of the Directorate General Petroleum Concessions, Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Resources. Under this project, a state-of-the-art office setup for DGPC with the help of latest hardware and software was put in place. Additionally Pakistan Petroleum Exploration & Production Policy and block application procedure were also designed. LMKR assisted DGPC in organizing and implementing licensing rounds for awarding of petroleum concessions. The DGPC was computerized for organized access, storage and retrieval. The Mapping Section at DGPC was established by inducting industry compliant software and hardware. Various other customized software was developed to organize, manage and monitor exploration, production and financial information.
