The ENI Technical Data Center project was awarded at the beginning of 2005.The scope of the project comprised of indexing, cataloguing, bar-coding and data uploading of Eni's physical assets. Over 0.65 million pages were scanned and these electronic documents were arranged to be stored in Eni's corporate database (MyDoc). All the physical information was stored alongside in Eni's Library Management System. The concept of the organized technical document center and warehouse was introduced while standard policies and procedures were established to help create value.
