Well Log Processing

Our log processing team has developed expertise through successful completion of several projects in Asia, Middle East and USA. Our clients benefit from availability of reliable and interpretation-ready data in varied formats. In the preparation of quality-assured log curve sets, a team of experienced log processors and petrophysicists are involved in the processing of the log data. Additionally, advanced tools and technologies are used for well log digitizing to provide high quality, interpretation-ready data quickly and efficiently in a variety of formats. Poor quality logs are recovered through high resolution scanning and then processed and converted onto client-specified media formats with maximum accuracy.

Well Log Data Management

Our team divides well log data management in four fundamental stages of collation, processing, transferring and storage. After the completion of the project, the verified raw (open & cased hole), edited and interpreted (PLT, TDT, RST / GST evaluations, LWD / MWD, PEX, DSI / Sonic) data is available in Along Hole Depth (MD). Composite files are supplied in Measured Depth (MD) and True Vertical Depth Sub Sea (TVDSS).

All recoverable raw logs (including repeat sections) in DLIS format copied to the specified media are loaded into the corporate database. Quality-checked composite and hybrid logs in DLIS format copied to the specified media are loaded into the corporate well log database. Scanned images of original raw logs and interpretation films/prints in compressed TIFF format are copied to the specified media.
