Following its commitment to offer secure and controlled services to all its stakeholders, Telenor Pakistan awarded LMKR the project for the provision of products and services for its Integrated Secure Network & System Access Solution initiative. LMKR under the contract would be providing Telenor an Identity Management and Identity Based Networking Solution (IBNS) that provides real time access and identity management for the IT systems that the business depends on. The Single Sign-On solution will allow for two-factor authentication to dynamically provision varying levels of access across the network and applications.
The solution is based on an integration of IBM Tivoli Identity Manager for user life-cycle management, IBM Tivoli Access Manager for application access control and single sign-on, Cisco Access Control Server for network access control, and RSA SecureID token-based two-factor authentication.
The acquisition of an integrated Access Management, Single Sign On solution with strong authentication will allow Telenor Pakistan to implement automated internal controls over access to and audit of their IT systems to address the immediate need for secure and controlled access to data.
